Piešťany
The small spa town of Piešťany (162 m above sea level), with around 30,000 inhabitants, lies in south-western Slovakia, 90 km from the capital Bratislava. The town is set in the picturesque valley of the river Váh below the Považský Inovec mountains and by the Sĺňava reservoir. The spa specialises in treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system:
