Červený Kameň Castle

The world-famous Fugger castle in the Little Carpathians has been completely renovated. Červený Kameň houses a museum presenting the living culture of the nobility from the 16th to the 20th century (the richest medieval collection in Slovakia). In the cellars you can see fortifications built partly to designs by Albrecht Dürer. The former Knights’ Hall holds a collection of hunting and historical weapons. The museum is part of the Slovak National Museum.
