About the excursion
A unique tour for all lovers of culture! Our first stop is in the charming volcanic Štiavnica Mountains with their mixed forests. The historic mining town of Banská Štiavnica is on the UNESCO list — a town with countless sights that enchants at first glance. We visit the impressive mineral collections in the Mining Court building and a mining gallery right inside the house. Lunch break by the town gallery opposite the magnificent Holy Trinity Column. A short walk takes us to the New Castle, the synagogue, the Knocking Tower, the Lutheran church, the Old Castle, the Chamber Court and more. In the afternoon we cross the mountains to the spa of Sklené Teplice, which has a natural cave steam bath used to treat musculoskeletal and nervous diseases — the famous poet J. W. Goethe was once a guest here. Finally we spend an hour below the romantic castle of the Pálffy family in Bojnice.
